The hotel for Leadership Day 2015, located at 1400 M Street, NW, Washington DC, is not within walking distance to Capitol Hill. However, the hotel is near several metro stations (McPherson Square or Foggy Bottom, both on the Blue/Orange lines) and cabs will be available in front of the hotel to take you to Capitol Hill. Attendees are responsible for these transportation costs.

Metro to the House Side of the Capitol:
- Walk approximately .34 mile from the hotel to the McPherson Square Metro station.
- Take the Orange Line towards New Carrolton or the Blue Line towards Largo Town Center.
- Get off at the Capitol South metro stop.
- Cost: $3.10 (one way); travel time approximately 15 minutes.
Metro to the Senate Side of the Capitol:
- Walk approximately .51 mile to the Farragut North Metro station.
- Take the Red Line towards Glenmont.
- Get off at Union Station and walk towards the Capitol.
- Cost: $3.10 (one way); travel time approximately 15-20 minutes.

Washington, D.C.'s metro system is generally a very safe and economical mode of transportation. The hotel concierge will be happy to point you in the right direction, should you decide to travel to Capitol Hill via the metro. Please be advised that during rush hour times (early morning/late afternoon) both the metro system and taxi service can be busy so please plan accordingly.
